Currently Co-CEO and Head of Development and International co-productions at Fabula Pictures, Nicola started his career in film production in 2000 with his family’s production company DAP Italy, developing and launching DAP’s post-production branch, Post In Europe.
Since then he has worked on countless TV and film projects, undertaking numerous strategic roles through the years, ranging from Story Editor to Post-Production Manager to Executive Producer, finally specializing in co-productions with foreign production companies in Europe and the U.S.
In 2012 he was awarded with a Nymph d’Or at the Montecarlo Television Festival as Best European Producer for the international TV series Titanic – Blood & Steel. His extensive expertise in filmmaking has enabled Nicola to develop a deep understanding about the key elements of a successful partnership. Under Nicola’s guide, Fabula Pictures has specialized in innovative concepts with a fresh approach that appeal to both domestic and international markets.
