Edvard has been active in the media and entertainment industry since 1998. As a new generation film producer he is specialized in non-traditional methods of film financing. In 2010 he introduced a new advertiser driven financing model for the Dutch-speaking, online released feature film ‘Claustrophobia’. In 2013 he was one of the creators of first the second screen feature ‘APP’, a sensational novelty in world cinema. The commercial success of the romantic comedy ‘Heart Street’ (2014) proved his vision of developing efficiently produced, high-concept feature films. In the following years he produced dozens of Dutch feature films, including ‘Fissa’, ‘Hartenstrijd’, ‘De Film van Dylan Haegens’ and ‘Whitestar’. Prior to his career as a film producer, Edvard produced corporate films and television commercials. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and is member of the Dutch Academy for Film.
