Antonio Parente is one of the founders of the Apulia Film Commission foundation in 2007. From 2016 he is the General Manager of AFC, previously he has been responsible for the first Apulia Film Fund and the Cineporti di Puglia.
The young manager from Bari, after having attended the Enrico Fermi scientific high school and the University of Bari, completed his studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and with the Master in business management and internationalization at the “Il Sole 24 Ore Business School ”. He worked at the Presidency of the Region at the opening of the first industrial district in Italy of cultural and creative enterprises and the economy of the immaterial.
With the introduction of the new industry measure on P.O. FESR Apulia Film Fund 2018-2020 and Apulia Development Fund are about 600 national and international audiovisual projects attracted, produced and supported.
