Director & Screenwriter
After writing and directing various short films like La Madonna della Frutta (The Lady of the Fruits), which was nominated to the David di Donatello in the best short film category, she debuted in 2010 with the feature film Into Paradiso, presented at the Centrocampo Italiano section of the 67th edition of the Venice Film Festival. The film received four nominations for the David di Donatello (best director debut, best special effects, best scenario and best music) award, as well as one for the Globo d’oro, also winning the award for best feature film at both Est Film Festival and Bimbi Belli festival.
In 2017 she wrote and directed Tito e gli alieni (Little Tito and the Aliens), winning the best film award at the tenth edition of the Ortigia Film Festival. In 2019 she co-directed Luna Nera (Black Moon), the new Italian Netflix series.
