Polly Williams heads up eOne’s Scripted business in the UK and focuses on distinctive, original, commercial high-end television drama for the UK, US and Europe. She works closely with independent producers and writers across the UK and recently brought producer Tally Garner and her company, Mam Tor, into the UK business as well as King Bee, a New York based production company run by Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola. Polly and her team run a large slate. They are currently gearing up for two UK based productions: Tenacity for ITV which they are co-producing with Bad Wolf, and Red Rose for BBC which they are co-producing with Eleven Films. Polly is an executive producer on both shows. Other high profile development includes: an adaptation of international bestselling novel, A Gentleman In Moscow by Amor Towles, to be directed by Tom Harper and starring Kenneth Branagh, a high profile drama about Gaddafi with Roberto Saviano, Palomar and SKY Italia and Ann Pachett’s acclaimed novel State Of Wonder to be adapted by Philippa Goslett with William Oldroyd attached to direct. Polly is an experienced producer and began her career as a script editor and development producer.
