Kateryna is responsible for strategic direction and development efforts of FILM.UA Group with a specific focus on scripted drama. As a part of her job Kateryna evaluates, develops and executive produces scripted drama projects (ranging from original content to local adaptations of successful scripted formats) and oversees international development and co-production partnerships at FILM.UA Group. Kateryna’s most recent project is Hide and Seek – Ukraine’s first noir drama, that was featured by MIPDrama Buyers Summit 2019, picked up by numerous international festivals and is now distributed internationally by ZDF Enterprises. Kateryna has been instrumental to the global success of The Sniffer (the first Ukrainian drama format optioned or adapted internationally, incl. France, Japan and the USA) and in bringing to Ukraine and Russia successful international drama formats like Step Dave (All3Media International) and The Red Band Society (Filmax). Kateryna is currently working on several international projects with international partners. She is a regular attendant of all major film and television events, markets and seminars: MIPTV, MIPCOM, EFM/Berlinale, MIA, Content London, etc. and has served as a juror for multiple international drama awards incl. International Emmy and Rockie Awards. Kateryna has also served on the board of NATPE Budapest Advisory Committee. Prior to joining FILM.UA Group, Kateryna had several years of experience in corporate finance.
