Renowned Hollywood producers will explore the roles of film and TV producers in the United States. They will be joined by leading Italian producers and members of the APA (Association of Audio-visual Producers in Italy), whose work has brought significant International focus to the Italian entertainment industry.
The U.S. players will offer insight into how the producer’s role is evolving across mediums and distribution. Italian producers will explore how their job is changing throughout Europe and discuss putting together IP/content in the increasingly complex international markets. Both Italian and Hollywood producers will detail how their respective organizations represent and advocate for producers, as well as highlight some of the groups’ signature programs.
Within Hollywood, the Producers Guild of America (PGA) is the non-profit professional trade organization that represents, protects and promotes the interests of all members of the producing team in film, television and new media.
