From the very beginning, Puglia has been chosen to set drama, crime and love stories. Each province has been defining itself with its own identity and every movie shot revealed a new prospective within a whole range of possibilities. Bari, Brindisi, Foggia, Lecce, Taranto and the BAT became, through the years, visible landscapes of multiple stories.

This decade was the confirmation of a promise: Puglia is a set scene to wonder. Around 200 feature films have been shot in Puglia: stories, faces, places to see and remember. A Film Fund always available to offer for national and international companies. A Development Fund where all the stories are born. Apulia Film Commission stands in the region to help and support authors, producers and talents. Lo Spietato was shot in 2018 in Puglia and has been a huge success chosen by Netflix, directed by Renato de Maria and interpreted by Riccardo Scamarcio and Sara Serraiocco.
